                    KANYASHREE PRAKALPA

 The Kanyashree Prakalpa was formulated in 2013 by The Department of Women Development and social Welfare (DWSW). It is surely a conditional cash transfer scheme.Its aim is to improve the girl child in West Bengal.It also incentivizes all teenage girls so that their marriages can be delayed until the age of 18.Government of West Bengal has introduced the scheme for Girl students between 13 to 18,the legal age of marriage . An annual scholarship of Rs.500/ will be credited in to the bank account of the beneficiary.The girls who is the beneficiary should continue studies up to 12th class.The one time grant of Rs.25,000/-will be given to the girls student.
